What We Do
For Families
We provide financial assistance to help Black families in Central Texas access homebirth and midwifery care. Grants may be used to offset out-of-pocket costs associated with prenatal, birth, and postpartum services, helping make culturally affirming care more accessible.
For Student Midwives
The shortage of Black midwives is one of the greatest barriers to equitable birth care. We provide financial support for Black student midwives pursuing their education, helping reduce the financial burden of training and strengthening the future of Black-led birth care.
For Community
Birth outcomes don't improve through individual care alone, they improve when communities thrive. We connect families with trusted local resources, cultivate relationships with birthworkers and community organizations, and invest in a future where Black families have greater access to culturally affirming care.
